Hello! My name is Nicole Cisne Durbin and I am excited to announce my candidacy as a Write-In Candidate for the Rock Island Milan School District 41 School Board.

With over 15 years of experience in community collaborations and leadership, I feel I am uniquely qualified to serve on our school board.

Throughout my career, I have worked to ensure our community is safe, and youth and families have the resources they need to be happy, healthy and successful. I believe that in order to have a strong and successful community, we have to have a strong and successful school district. A district that ensures the multifaceted needs of our youth are met.

I am a mother of two young children in the district, and I am married to a teacher (who works in another school district).

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who understands the social and emotional learning needs of our youth.

In my current role as President and CEO of Family Resources, I report to a Board of Directors - so I have perspective on the roles and responsibilities of a Board Member.

I love Rock Island and would love to serve as a member of the RIMSD 41 School Board.
