Now is a GREAT time to book a piano tuning appointment with Mike's Piano Service. I have several people ask how often they should get it tuned? The best answer is, at least once a year.
The maintenance required on a neglected piano that has gone long periods of time between tunings puts huge stress on the instrument. The strings hold 2000 pounds of pressure per square inch, and a piano has 240+ strings.
