Good food. Great company. 🚚🚚

Today we hit pause on the freight and gathered around the Pita Post & Treat Dreams food trucks for a well-deserved break. Gathering around some good food is one of our favorite ways to bring the team together, share a few laughs, and celebrate the people who keep things moving every day.

Re**er rates are spiking and produce season isn't slowing down. If you're still relying on the spot market to cover your refrigerated freight, the next 30 days are going to hurt.

Here's what shippers should be doing right now:

1. Lock in contract rates on your highest-volume lanes before spot premiums eat your margin.
2. Audit your carrier list. Thin capacity means you need carriers who will actually pick up the phone.
3. Confirm backup coverage. Your primary carrier going down during peak is not a hypothetical.
4. Tighten your pickup windows. Flexible shippers get capacity when rigid ones don't.
5. Talk to your broker today, not when you have a load sitting on the dock with nowhere to go.

The shippers who move this week are in a different position than the ones who wait until July.

What's the biggest capacity challenge you're dealing with right now? Let's hear it.
