The library will be closed on both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4 this week. Be sure to pick up your items ahead of time and we will see you again at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 5.

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Advisory for Rochester from Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2. In response, Rochester Public Transit (RPT) is activating the fare-free program “Cool Place to Be.”

During this time, people caught outside in the extreme heat can notify an RPT driver that they need to escape the heat and cool down, and no fare will be charged to board the bus.
