SAVE THE DATE!!!!! West Irondequoit is hosting a Job Fair on Friday, July 10 at District Office, 321 List Ave. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and you can fill out applications on the spot! Times blocks are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. We're looking for Teaching Assistants, Teacher Aides, Food Service Helpers, Security Staff, childwatch staff for before and after school, contract substitutes and more! Our Board of Education appointed three assistant principals at Thursday night’s board meeting, including two current employees moving up to new roles. All three positions are new to strengthen our administrative team for each school:

Construction work on new turf fields at our main campus behind IHS and Dake Jr. HS, started the first week of June and progress has been dramatic. Fencing, light posts, bleachers, dugouts and more was removed, and the process of leveling the ground is under way. The end product will be a new, multi-use athletic complex featuring turf baseball and softball diamonds and a relocated area for track and field throwing events. The other phase of this capital improvement project, which was approved by district voters in December of 2024, is the transformation of the Pinegrove Learning Center, 154 Pinegrove Ave. That building also has required a massive renovation to modernize it.
