Welcome to Wilmot, Dr. Randall Kimple! 👋

Dr. Kimple officially joined the University of Rochester faculty in June as the newly named chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology. He also serves on Wilmot's executive committee and is a member of the Cancer Microenvironment research program at Wilmot.

His clinical and research focus is on head and neck cancers. On the research side, he is working to develop therapies that can improve cancer outcomes, including a novel cell therapy for radiation-induced salivary gland damage and next-generation radiopharmaceuticals that use engineered antibodies to deliver targeted radiation for both imaging and treatment.

We look forward to sharing more about his vision for Radiation Oncology at Wilmot in the coming months, but for now, please join us in welcoming him to Wilmot and to Rochester!
