This is why, World Refrigeration Day (WRD) has been set aside to recognize the birth date of William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin on June 26, 1824, also recognized as Lord Kelvin in refrigeration world. The World Refrigeration Day (WRD) is an international day established to raise awareness about the importance of refrigeration technologies in day-to-day life.
