Story time: My wife had been telling me for weeks that we needed to take maternity photos… and like a true professional procrastinator, I kept pushing it off. 😅
Finally, I had that moment of panic like, “Hey Zack… this baby is not waiting on your schedule.” So I grabbed my gear and we rushed over to Black Creek Park.
Somehow, we timed it perfectly—the creek was only ankle-deep, so my wife and daughter stepped in and we started getting some amazing shots.
Then, right as we finish up… my wife’s water breaks. In the creek.
We both just freeze. She looks at me, gives me that look, and goes, “See.”
No arguing. No debate. Just immediate confirmation that I should’ve listened weeks ago. 😂
We rushed home, grabbed the hospital bags (thankfully she had those ready… because of course she did), and that night we welcomed our son, Leo.
Moral of the story: your wife is always right !
