Types and Performance of Computers

Computers, which are a type of digital machine, are divided into four main parts in terms of application and quality, each with its own application. Each is described in detail below:
1. Super Computer
2. Mini Computer
3. Mainframe Computer
4. Personnel Computer

Supercomputers
It is a type of digital machine and is considered the most powerful computer in the world. These machines are expensive and high-speed, used in advanced analysis and space research, and are used in large organizations such as the US National Research Space Administration and Space Administration because of their high efficiency.

Mini Computers
This machine has high efficiency power and has a lot of functionality and memory. These machines are used in large companies, using advanced technology that controls vast areas. These machines have a huge storage capacity and are used in large institutions, and their application areas are insurance companies, and other large institutions in a country.

Mainframe Computers
These machines are smaller in size and more powerful than mini computers. These types of computers are used in banking systems, divisions of large companies, and specific business purposes.

Personal computers
These types of machines are also called personal computers, which are used for personal work or offices and homes. They are still the fastest computers in terms of their use in all aspects of life, and they are also the slowest computers.

Types of Machines and Computers

Digital machines are divided into three main categories: digital machines, analog machines and hybrid machines, which are a combination of analog and digital:

Digital machines are computers that have the ability to capture, process, store, and display information through external transmitting devices.

Analog machines are computers or machines that represent arithmetic problems on numbers in physical form and do not have the ability of digital computers to capture, process, give and store information.

Hybrid machines are a combination of digital and analog computers and display the information produced in the form of analog computers.
