Many workplaces bring in weight loss programs, but have you tried a mindful eating program?
Mindful eating allows each of us to make flexible decisions based on our inner awareness.
This is a program that's built on self-understanding of habits, triggers, cravings, needs for taste satiety as well as knowing hunger & fullness levels.
It's not about 100 calorie snacks, metabolic rate, and the nutritional value of food (you will need to hire someone else for that!).
Today we deliver an intro workshop to one of our clients on Mindful Eating for Sweet Relief. How do we curb the desire to eat (more) sweets?
This program is based on Jean Kristeller, PhD's work on mindfulness based exercises for binge eaters. And the qualities that make up binge eating actually are similar to our American habit of eating too much. *Explained more in the intro workshop*
