For students entering grades 7-12 in Fall 2026, NYSSMA Level 3-6

Grab your flute and get ready for some fun! This offers students the opportunity to focus on making music with fellow flutists through group lessons, workshops, and flute ensembles. While making music in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, students will increase their knowledge of tone production, rhythm, technique, and ensemble playing.

Camp will conclude with a performance on Friday, July 24 at 2:30 pm.

The RFA is pleased to present "Success in Music: a discussion and masterclass with Julee Kim Walker" on Thursday, May 28 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Hochstein School, 50 N. Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY 14614. This event is free and open to the public.

Do you, or any of your students, want the opportunity to play in the masterclass? It is open to all ages and skill levels, and is free with RFA membership. Deadline to sign up is Monday, May 18, and performers will be notified by May 20. Apply today!
