I’m happy to share the online release of my composition eChOlapse (2025), originally premiered at the PROCESSES - Electroacoustic Music Festival in Athens (REVMA Cultural Space, September 20–21, 2025).

eChOlapse presents itself not as a narrative, but as a sonic drift — a non-linear environment where sound moves through states of fracture and erosion. The piece evokes the sense of a broken ecosystem, a broken system, a continual collapse that replays itself through resonance and decay. Repetition does not function as return, but as residue — loops falter, fold back into themselves, and echoes collapse into echoes. Forgetting becomes a way of renewal, while remembering becomes a fragile act of destruction — an attempt to recover what sound has already erased.

Even in its stereo form, eChOlapse seeks to preserve the sensation of immersion and instability: the listener is suspended in a space that never settles, drifting between clarity and disappearance.

Originally conceived for octophonic diffusion, the work now unfolds in a distilled version — a kind of echo of the echo, where the collapse itself becomes the composition.
