Because I’m an avid seed saver, I rarely purchase seeds - especially hybrid seed. The one exception? Potomac Series Snapdragons from . They never fail. Start them in January, pinch the plants back by half when they are about 6” tall, plant them outside when it still dips a bit below freezing, and wait for the heat to bring them on. One of my fave’s for sure!

I had a great time picking up the blue oyster mushrooms for the upcoming dinner on Saturday. is a gorgeous historic farm now fostering bees and other pollinators, and growing awesome mushrooms. Thank you Lisa for the beautiful tour of this historic property in the Sogn Valley!
