Join the 7th Judicial District in celebrating America's 250th Anniversary!

The 7th Judicial District invites members of the bench, bar, and community to a public Reading of the Declaration of Independence on Thursday, July 9, at 12:30 p.m. outside the Monroe County Hall of Justice.

Thirty-one judges, court staff, and members of the legal community will take turns reading the Declaration in honor of our nation's semiquincentennial—a meaningful tribute to the enduring principles of liberty, justice, and the rule of law.

We're excited that several Monroe County Bar Association members will be participating, including MCBA President Christin Cornetta, Immediate Past President Mark D. Funk, and more!
