NYS 4‑H Families — we’re looking for warm, welcoming homes to host an amazing Japanese student July 23 – August 16, 2026!
Hosting is a fun and meaningful way for your family to:
✨ Build lifelong friendships
✨ Share everyday American life
✨ Learn about Japanese culture
✨ Give your kids a global perspective
✨ Make summer memories you’ll talk about for years
No special trips or big events are required — just include your guest in your normal family life!
🏡 Who can host?
Any NYS 4‑H family with a child close in age to the visiting student. Caring adults, curiosity, and a desire to make a difference are all you need.
