R Community Bikes

R Community Bikes (RCB) gives a HUGE thank you to Abundance food Coop for having us a the recipient of their monthly round-up program! RCB plans to use roundup funds received to purchase safety equipment, helmets, bells and reflectors for bikes our volunteers refurbish for distribution, free of charge, to Rochester's children and adults.

In addition, from June21-June27 Abundance is having a promotion where you can get a discount if you bike there to purchase some groceries!

Mark brought two bikes that needed some repair to the Beechwood offsite this week. He wanted the bikes to be fixed up so that he could give them to some of his senior citizen neighbors, for transportation and recreation. We're glad that we could assist. Thank you Mark for your generosity and for helping our community!
