In typical fashion, I am sitting here drinking my morning coffee trying to do absolutely everything I can squeeze in before Mira wakes up. One of those things, is reaching to you all to invite you tag a friend or loved one who you think would rock one of my “Resist” or “F*CK ICE” fundraiser pins. An angel has swooped in given a monetary donation to support this cause with the expressed interest of funding a couple pieces of jewelry for someone who would wear it proudly and want to give to this cause, but doesn’t have the means to stretch out right now. I have someone in mind for one of the pieces, but wanted to reach out to my IG community for the other 🫶

Also, a quick update: Together so far, we have raised $446 to support our local immigrant community. Just WOW. So many people out there fighting the good fight and looking out for our innocent neighbors and friends living under constant threat and fear from being arrested by our own government. I’ve been shocked by how close to home this has hit and we really don’t know where these horrors will stop. You have really shown up for such a important cause and I’m immensely proud of where I live and the generosity shown to myself, our community and 🙌

May we continue to make great strides in uplifting and supporting one another, especially those less advantaged than ourselves. Love ya’ll 💖

The atrocities being committed against our fellow Americans are deeply harmful to the fabric of our country that was BUILT by immigrants seeking refuge. What is happening here is unacceptable, and as hard as it is to not feel paralyzed by these horrors, it’s up to us to take a stand, speak out, and resist with our unique and powerful voices.

I feel privileged to be able to create these pieces of protest and defiance. As a friend said to me the other day, “may this terrible time in US history radicalize us all”.

Each piece is crafted one at a time by my hands in my Rochester, NY home studio. They are about the size of a conversation heart and a reminder to be as compassionate as we are angry.

As many of you are aware, the price of silver had near quadrupled in the past 4 months, so as much as I would like to offer them for less, the very cost of materials limits what I can do. I bring you both silver and brass for that reason.

25% of each sale will go directly to a family in my neighborhood and friend’s of our community who’s patriarch was detained in December and Rochester’s Rapid Response Network.
