Children's book I wrote and illustrated for a project. A girl buys her first pet and chooses a lifetime pal, a tortoise. They stick together as they both go through the journey of life. The story is told from the pet's perspective.

My favorite childhood story, Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree". Had to choose a quote to use for a mini assignment. I'll probably do some more in the future. I wanted to emulate the style of the cover with this❤😊
