Believe it or not I originally went out to this house to start a twice annual Yellow Jacket preventative maintenance program. When I got out of my truck something felt off. And as I started to walk around and inspect a Little Closer I started to notice all kinds of defects on the property. Now you may be wondering what this has to do with yellow jackets. But did you know that yellow jackets and other stinging insects use little pieces of chewed up wood or leaves or sticks to build their nests? Well this customer did not. So basically all that damaged siding is nesting material in addition to being a potential attractant to multiple other pests as well as rodents from the damage to the foundation. One of the things I stress to be the most important part of maintaining a home is making sure water is not damaging your property. Because it can cause issues like this as well as an abundance of other issues.
