Part 5 of our lab education series is here — and this one takes a deeper look at micronutrient health.
You can eat a balanced diet, take supplements, and still wonder whether your body is getting what it needs.
If fatigue or brain fog keeps returning, recovery feels slower than expected, you follow a restricted diet, have absorption concerns, or your supplement routine has become difficult to manage, a Comprehensive Micronutrient Panel may provide useful information.
Our newest post explains how vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fatty acids, ferritin, MMA, homocysteine, and other markers can help your provider see the bigger nutritional picture.
The goal is not to find a supplement for every result. It is to better understand what may deserve attention — and what may not.

Part 4 of our lab education series is here — and this one focuses on hormone testing.
Changes in sleep, mood, menstrual cycles, energy, libido, recovery, or body composition can raise questions about hormones. But those symptoms can overlap with stress, thyroid health, iron status, metabolic health, medications, and normal aging.
Our newest post explains what markers such as estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, SHBG, FSH, LH, DHEA-S, prolactin, pregnenolone, and PSA can add to a provider-reviewed hormone conversation.
The goal is not to blame every symptom on hormones or focus on one isolated number. It is to understand how the pieces fit together and what may be worth discussing next.

Cyclosporiasis has become a concern across Southeast Michigan, including Oakland County.
Symptoms can include watery diarrhea, bloating, gas, stomach cramps, nausea, fatigue, and low-grade fever. Symptoms may improve for a few days and then return.
We put together a quick guide covering symptoms, produce safety, and when to talk with a clinician:

Existing purelyIV clients may be eligible for a $50 virtual clinician review. New clients require a $250 full virtual medical consultation, with prescription support if medically appropriate.
Seek urgent care for dehydration, blood in stool, severe abdominal pain, fainting, confusion, persistent fever, or inability to keep fluids down.
Educational only. Not medical diagnosis or treatment advice.

We just published Part 3 of our lab education series — and this one focuses on the Metabolic Health Panel.
This post takes a closer look at the markers that can help your provider review blood sugar, insulin, thyroid, B12, vitamin D, ferritin, and other clues that may shape a more informed wellness conversation.
If you’ve been dealing with afternoon energy crashes, cravings, weight changes, low stamina, or just feeling metabolically “off,” this article explains how the bigger lab pattern may be more useful than looking at one number by itself.
Because better information can lead to clearer next steps.

We just published the second post in our new lab education series — and this one focuses on the Foundational Wellness Panel.
Sometimes one narrow lab test is not the best place to start. If you have been feeling tired, foggy, run down, or just not quite like yourself, a broader baseline can help your provider look at several common wellness categories at once.
In this post, we explain how baseline labs can help provide context around:
• blood count
• metabolism
• blood sugar and A1C
• cholesterol
• inflammation
• thyroid markers
• iron status
• vitamin D and magnesium
The goal is simple: better information, clearer next steps, and less guessing.

We’re kicking off a new blog series focused on our lab offerings — and first up is the Iron Panel.
If you’ve been feeling unusually tired, winded, foggy, or just not like yourself, iron may be part of the picture. But one “iron number” does not always tell the whole story.
In our newest post, we break down what an Iron Panel can help your provider review, including ferritin, serum iron, TIBC, transferrin saturation, and CBC markers — all explained in plain language.
The goal is simple: help you better understand what your labs may be showing and what next steps may make sense.

NAD+ is getting more attention in reproductive health research — not as a fertility treatment, but because of its role in cellular energy, repair, and healthy aging.
Our newest blog post breaks down the early science in plain English, including why researchers are looking at NAD+ pathways, what the research may suggest, and what it does not prove yet.
