PRAIRIE HILL Learning Center

On this National Little Free Library Day, we’re feeling grateful and excited to have our own Little Free Library at PRAIRIE HILL!

Our little library was donated a few years ago by one of our graduating adolescent classes. These young graduates donated our little free library to say, thank you, for their time at Prairie Hill and to make sure our community continued to enjoy reading. We’re grateful to those graduates for their donation. We’re grateful to their Lead Montessori Guide Jordan and we’re so thankful to Jon for building this fantastic library.

Lincoln Public Schools is proud to have 23 students who have received a Nebraska Seal of Biliteracy for Spring 2026, awarded by the Nebraska Department of Education and the Nebraska International Languages Association. Congratulations to all!

For our PRAIRIE HILL community, we saw this firsthand at this year’s “Students On Stage” this morning!

Positive affirmations! Harmonica playing! Solo singing performances! Singalong performances! Poetry readings! Songs performed on the recorder! AND don’t forget our new favorite standup comedian, “What’s a magician without the magic???”

This is how we roll at PRAIRIE HILL - we’re OUTSIDE in the sunshine, cheering on our students and staff, the horses are whinnying in the barn, Cheddar, our cat, is in the audience with parents and grandparents and the scent of peonies fill the fresh air. Aaahhhh…SO. GOOD.

We love our community and appreciate our families, alumni and community partners for all they give back to Prairie Hill.
