Happy Thankful Tuesday, Church Family ๐Ÿ’™

Today we pause and thank God for the blessings we sometimes overlook in the middle of busy days and heavy moments. Even in seasons that feel uncertain, God is still faithful. His grace continues to cover us, His mercy meets us every morning, and His love never runs out.

Some of us are thanking Him for prayers He answered.
Some of us are thanking Him for strength to keep going.
And some of us are simply thanking Him for waking us up today.

No matter what your week looks like, remember that gratitude shifts our hearts and reminds us that God has been good in every season.

โ€œGive thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.โ€ โ€” Psalm 107:1

Today we thank Him for His protection, His provision, and for every person who is part of our church family. We are grateful for you.

If you have something youโ€™re thankful for today, drop it in the comments so we can rejoice together. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

Today, we pause in gratitude.

We are thankful not just in words, but deep in our hearts for every single person God has sent through our doors. Every smile. Every prayer request. Every testimony. Every tear shed at the altar.

We donโ€™t believe in coincidence. We believe in divine appointments. If you are here, it is because God placed you here.

Today we pray for the people God has entrusted to this house. We pray over your families, your children, your health, your finances, your calling. We pray that what God has started in you, He will finish. We pray that what felt heavy this week will be lifted.

God has shown up for us time and time again. In seasons of growth. In seasons of stretching. In moments when we didnโ€™t know how it would come together He made a way.

And He is still making a way.

We are thankful for a faithful God. A present God. A promise-keeping God.

If you are reading this, know this:
You are not here by accident.
You are prayed over.
You are covered.
You are loved.

And we are grateful for you. ๐Ÿ’™

Cherlyn โ€œSunshineโ€ Taylor passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb 3. She was a faithful member of New Generation Church under Pastor Mike Anderson Sr. She loved cooking and served in the Hospitality/Food Ministry. As a dedicated and loyal employee, she worked at the VA in Salem for 40+ years. She is survived by her three brothers and a sister, along with her three fur babies. Her presence will be missed by her family, friends, and the congregation of New Generation Church.

From us here at New Generation Church:

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Sister Cherlyn Taylor. Sister Cherlyn was a true light within our church family warm in spirit, generous in heart, and steadfast in her service to the Lord. Her joy, her smile, and her loving commitment to hospitality blessed countless lives and reflected the love of Christ so beautifully.

As a congregation, we thank God for the time we were given to share with Sister Cherlyn. We will miss her dearly, yet we rest in the comforting promise that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

We extend our sincere prayers and love to her family and loved ones. May Godโ€™s peace surround them during this difficult time.

Sister Cherlyn, we love you, we honor you, and we will forever cherish your memory. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
