Job Description:
- Concrete dispatch (schedule, move, and monitor concrete orders)
- Enter concrete orders into computer
- Communicate with drivers/batch tech about orders and directions
- Monitor truck locations and status to ensure on-time deliveries
- Answer incoming & making outgoing calls to and from customers and distributing messages
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate individual
- Respond to inquiries via phone or email
- Order and maintain supplies and fuel
- Prepare and mail outgoing correspondence
- Order hauling permits for equipment
- Take credit card payments
- Help when needed for stone/dirt/sand/etc delivery dispatch
- Perform administrative/bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, sales tax reports, daily drivers reports, filing, maintain sales tax exempt certificates, maintain confidential department files/records, manage database entry and client files, credit applications, collections, and other office related duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience/skill requirements:
- No experience required however secretary experience preferred.
- Must be able to read a map and clearly communicate driving directions
- Basic math skills
- Legible handwriting
- Proper phone etiquette
- Work and communicate well with others
- Microsoft office skills preferred
- Multi-tasking skills
- Establish and maintain positive customer relations

Physical Requirements:
Requires sitting at a desk most of the day.
Occasional lifting of boxes no more than 25-30 lbs.

Job Location:
Roanoke Rapids, NC

Position Type:
Full-Time/Regular
Monday-Friday 7-5 with 1 hour lunch
Saturday as needed
