"It's so hard to pinpoint my favorite memory at Davis. When I first signed the SIR I did not even know what an Aggie was, to be completely honest. But now, despite all those horrible science weeder classes, I am not only graduating with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior, but I am also leaving with so many life-long friendships and countless memories. I know Davis has trained me well to take on the real world. Congrats to all of my fellow seniors in the Class of 2016! We did it.

"When entering Davis, there was this constant, lingering feeling of uncertainty when it came to my future. But as I thought about what I wanted to do during my here at UC Davis, there’s one thing that is certain – I wanted to sing. Singing brings me life. It brings me joy. It is how I live. It is how I breathe. At the time, joining The Afterglow seemed like the practical choice; never did I expect that it would be the best choice I have ever made during my college career. There’s always something special about people – coming from different places and backgrounds – singing together and sharing their love for music. I have made unforgettable memories, with the best of friends. Being around enthusiastic, energetic, and talented men throughout these years inspired growth in me to becoming the best singer that I can be. Being in this group helped me realize my potential as a musician, reaching new heights and tapping into unimaginable artistic capabilities. I’ve learned a lot about myself and what I am truly capable of and I cannot put into words how honored I am in joining such an amazing group of talented singers. The Afterglow will always have a special place in my heart and for that, I am forever grateful. But for now, I guess the only thing left to do is to sing. Sing on, Afterglow.
