Birthday Cake!

Part of our traditions is having a close-knit private celebration version of each person's birthday in our house. Singing, presents, cards... the whole sha-bang!

Each year, we have a way of doing things and pictures. So, when you look back over the years, you can see how much everyone has grown. It's really cool, even though I get a "Geesh Dad" every now and then.

This year is 17. It's so crazy on so many levels. Everything flashes before your eyes. I'm just grateful I can be here in the moment.
