Today, several specialized units from conducted a coordinated training operation within the city.
Joint training builds familiarity, strengthens communication, and ensures officers are ready to respond together when critical incidents occur.

It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Battalion Chief Wilson of Riverside Fire.
Chief Wilson served with dedication and courage. His leadership, professionalism, and spirit touched so many in the department and beyond.
To his family, friends, and fellow firefighters: I offer my heartfelt condolences. May you find strength in each other, and may Chief Wilson’s memory continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
In honoring him, let us also remember the sacrifices firefighters make every day,often in danger, to keep us safe. Rest in peace, Chief Wilson.
