With the cold weather here, there is just one more thing to worry about...FREEZING! Just kidding! Luckily it doesn’t get cold enough to have to worry about that here in sunny California!

CHEMICALS: Stay on top of your chemicals as lower water temperatures typically call for an adjustment to treatment levels. Keep a close eye on your levels to keep the water safe to enjoy and clean year round.

POOL FILTER: With a busy summer and high usage of your pool, now is a perfect time to clean your filter. Starting the season off with a clean filter is important. Give us a call to schedule a time for us to clean your filter.

LEAVES & DEBRIS: Fall cleaning involves a lot of leaf removal and more plant debris in the pool equals more problems. It is important to remove leaves regally as if they accumulate in the pool, algae begins to grow and thrive. Leaves that sink to the bottom of the pool can stain floor of your pool as well.

We have seen a lot of ash from the El Dorado and Bobcat fires in pools these past few weeks. Thankfully the smoke and ash seem to be subsiding. Now is a good time to check and clean your pool systems. Here are the steps to keeping your pool in shape.

- Skim the surface for ash and debris
- Brush the walls, floor, and steps
- Clean the pool filter
- Increase or decrease water level as needed
- Check and balance pH and Chlorine Levels
