All in for No Kid Hungry
Our Be a Superhero event brought our students together in support of No Kid Hungry turning a shared meal into impact.
From the energy behind the line to the smiles throughout the event, it all came together in a meaningful way. With the support of our guests, we were able to contribute over a thousand dollars to No Kid Hungry.
Grateful for the opportunity to bring our communities together in support of something greater. 💥.

His journey in the kitchen began working in small restaurants, where he was introduced to a variety of cooking styles. That early experience sparked a passion that continues to grow through learning and creating each day.

Meet Chef Josefina at HIU’s Commons, who brings passion and care to every dish served! 👩🍳
Josefina has dedicated over 30 years to HIU, becoming a beloved part of the campus dining experience. Her passion for cooking began in her young adulthood, and she has been helping make food since she was 16 years old.
Today, that same passion continues to shape the meals she prepares for our guests and local community each day.
