Proud parent and board moment. Today we celebrated 551 students graduating from Cleveland High School with one of those students being our son, Sugar Shane!!

Graduation season is in full swing!! Last night was RioTECH Inaugural Graduation and tonight was Cyber Academy. More happening next week and looking forward to celebrating more students!! CONGRATULATIONS to all our 2026 Grads and will try to get more pics, but being on stage makes it a little harder 😜

Got to see the Friends of the Library & Literacy honor a handful of students and award them scholarships for all the hard work they did volunteering to help Mrs. Amanda Ball at VSCHS and Mr. Jeff Tolle RRHS libraries.

The Friends of the Library & Literacy does more than scholarships for the students. Since August of 2025 they have donated over $17,000 to our teachers and schools. They are also working to donate a 3-D printer for RioTECH.

Attended a great event last night to honor our Native American Seniors. Gary Keene of the Pueblo of Acoma presented Eagle Awards to 5 very deserving students. Congratulations to all the seniors, their families, and friends.

The Rio Rancho Public Schools Employee Recognition event was a wonderful occasion to acknowledge retirees, Hall of Honor inductees, staff with 20 years of dedication, and our Staff of the Year; please accept our sincerest congratulations on this notable recognition, celebrating your commitment to students and the community. Had a great time at the jazz concert last night! Saw two of the best band directors in the state, Rebecca and her family let me sit with them and when I was asked, Which kiddo is yours?? My response was all of them, I’m on the Board so they are all my students.

Attended the community forum this evening and was very informative. Do your research and vote wisely!

Huge thanks to Rio Rancho Public Schools for allowing this and the gubernatorial forum occur in our facility.

Attended the Crimson Dinner last night, honoring the top 24 students of RRHS. All of them had at least a 4.3 or higher GPA! What? Smarter than me 😜 Congratulations to all the students for their hard work and thank you to the staff, parents, and friends for supporting them!!
