We had a hop-tastic turnout at our Easter event! This year, our theme has been “Honk and Roll.” We have fused the district’s theme of Accelerate Effingham with the leadership characteristics we can learn from geese. This month, we are celebrating the Heart and Soul.

Did you know that when a goose gets sick, wounded, or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then, they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock. If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong.

We are excited to recognize these staff members as the Heart and Soul of enCompass Academy: Ms. Jessica Slaymaker, Mrs. Tracy Owens, and Ms. Charlotte Quinn. They work hard every day to help us all be successful. Thank you so much!
