Sometimes a photo scout expedition turns into something great. Abby Braithwaite is a writer and she lives in a magical place in the pacific northwest —replete with a writing cabin and treehouse.

Mary P. has always loved working with children and is a natural born teacher with her story telling skills. I am so blessed to listen to folk’s stories when they sit for a session.

Susan G. was so comfortable in front of the camera and wonderfully animated.

We talked about her incredible positive disposition and she shared this quote from Mark Twain that has stuck with her through the years:

“Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that crushed it.”

Originally from Texas, I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest almost 50 years ago. My focus is portraits in the "third age". So much beauty and wisdom.

I'm located in Ridgefield, WA, just north of Portland, OR.
