The 2nd annual “Tacos, Tequila and Tamales” fundraiser -- our partnership with Latino Leadership Northwest -- was held in late January at the Portland Expo Center. Box office numbers show just over 1,600 people attended the festival, down 48% from last year. Threats of immigration enforcement kept people from attending as well as forcing the cancelation of many performers and vendors.
A GoFundMe https://gofund.me/a482a0e1a has been set up to make up a big fundraising shortfall. Please consider giving to help us recover from our fundaiser shortfall. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue the work our community depends on.
