ONLY 5 HOURS LEFT TO VOTE! Go to the link in our bio to vote for Union Ridgeβs wonderful 1st grade teacher, Brigid Taylor π𧑠Sheβs currently in 4th place and could use your vote!
Brigid is known for creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that help students connect what they learn in the classroom to the world around them. From partnering with local organizations and civic leaders to leading an after-school garden club and bringing guest speakers into her classroom, Brigid helps students see that their voices matter and that they can make a positive impact in their community.
βBrigidβs passion for education and commitment to creating authentic learning experiences are at the heart of everything she does,β said Principal Angie Gaub. βShe helps students see that learning extends far beyond the walls of the classroom.β
We are proud to celebrate Brigid and the incredible impact she continues to make on students and families every day. Congratulations, Brigid!
π¬β¨ What an amazing Science Night! β¨π¬
Last night was absolutely incredible! We were blown away by the turnout and the energy in the room. None of it would have been possible without our wonderful volunteers β thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving your time and making the night such a success. We can't wait to do it all again next school year! π
A huge shoutout also goes to our amazing teachers for all their hard work helping students log their reading minutes. The results speak for themselves β 193 students hit the 90-minute reading mark on Friday night! π That is something to celebrate!
π And a very special congratulations to Keerat Mann in Ms. Kennedy's class, the winner of the Yoto Mini prize package! Enjoy it, Keerat β you earned it!
We are so excited for this week of reading and fundraising ahead. This community is truly something special. Thank you all for making moments like these possible! π
π SNACK MONSTER UPDATE π
We are BLOWN AWAY by the generosity of this incredible community! Thanks to YOUR donations, we have collected 15 boxes of snacks β totaling 574 snacks β to help fuel our amazing teachers and students! ππ§β¨
It truly takes a village, and this village SHOWS UP. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to everyone who contributed. You are making a real difference in the lives of our kids every single day.
π BUT WE'RE NOT DONE YET! π
We are keeping the Snack Monster going through the END OF THE YEAR! Our goal is to make sure that no teacher or student has to worry about having the fuel they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
If you'd like to contribute, donations are ongoing and every little bit counts β a box of granola bars, a bag of pretzels, or any individually wrapped snack is always welcome!
Together, we are building something special. Thank you for being part of it! πβ€οΈ
