We are so proud to celebrate Rachel, this yearβs Gateway Rose Award recipient and our Outstanding Parent Volunteer! πΉ
Rachel represents the very best of Gatewayβs parent volunteers. She has had children at Gateway since the 2006β2007 school year and has spent nearly two decades pouring her time, heart, and energy into our school community. She joined PTO in 2008, served as PTO President from the 2014β2016 school years, and has remained actively involved ever since.
Over the years, Rachel has dedicated countless hours to Gateway, always showing up with calm, dependable energy and a heart for serving others. From supporting events like the Book Fair and fundraisers to timing runners at Junior Olympics, helping with classroom activities, and even providing teacher snacks and thoughtful, personal gifts, Rachel consistently goes above and beyond.
Even during years when our PTO was small, Rachel remained a steady and reliable presence, making sure teachers felt supported and appreciated. Her generosity, kindness, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our school community.
As her youngest moves on next year, Gateway will truly feel her absence. Rachel leaves behind a legacy of service, care, and dedication that will be remembered for years to come.
Congratulations, Rachel! We are so thankful for all you have done for Gateway and honored to recognize you with this well-deserved award.
