Ridgecrest Physical Therapy is seeking a dynamic, motivated and energetic, Front Desk
Receptionist/Physical Therapy Aide. You will have the opportunity to learn aspects of both receptionist duties and patient care for enhanced career growth and the ability to be cross trained into a Physical Therapy Aide position. Having experience working in a medical office and anatomy knowledge is a plus but not required.

Our office is open Monday – Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-12 with this position being a
part-time to full-time flex.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Greeting patients upon arrival and collecting co-pays as needed.
Preparing new patient charts both paper and electronic.
Notifying providers of patient arrivals.
Scheduling patients for initial and follow up appointments.
Answering incoming calls and calling patients to confirm appointments.
Verifying insurance and assist in maintaining outgoing payment requests.
Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs.
Other impromptu assignments as necessary.
Setting up patients on modalities as necessary.

Requirements:

Ability to exercise patient confidentiality, discretion, and judgment in order to respond appropriately and positively interact with both patients and staff.
Basic computer operation and typing skills – experience with Mac is a bonus.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Positive outlook and a team player.
