Insulin affordability win for Virginians! On Monday, Governor Spanberger signed legislation enhancing the state’s existing insulin affordability protections. Specifically, the new law adds cost-sharing limits to diabetes-related equipment and supplies and lowers patient cost-sharing for insulin from $50 to $35 for state regulated health insurance plans. Thank you Abigail Spanberger, Delegate Karrie Delaney, and all the advocates who lent their voice to ease the burden for Virginians living with diabetes.
