In Richmond, VA—where history runs deep as the birthplace of the nation’s first electric streetcar system—a new chapter in mobility is now underway. New Flyer has partnered with GRTC on its first-ever New Flyer order, building on a longstanding relationship that began with GRTC’s initial MCI coach order in 2008.

This fleet expansion includes 12 high-capacity Xcelsior® CNG 60-foot articulated buses and five MCI D45 CRT LE accessible coaches, reflecting a shared commitment between GRTC and NFI to deliver advanced solutions that are reliable, safe, and inclusive.
