If your kid plays a sport, you already know how much work goes into it.

The practices. The games. The drives. The early mornings.

What most youth athletes are missing isn't more of that.

It's the physical foundation that makes all of it work better.

Strength training, when done right, doesn't just make young athletes faster and stronger. It makes them more durable. Less prone to the overuse injuries that sideline so many kids at exactly the age when they're supposed to be developing.

At X Factor, we work with athletes 21 and under with the same science-based, form-first approach we use with everyone here.

No random workouts. No throwing weights around and hoping for the best. Periodized programming built around where your athlete is right now and designed to take them somewhere specific.

And the same no-ego, no-intimidation environment that makes adults feel welcome applies to our younger athletes too.

Whether your kid is trying to earn a starting spot, stay healthy through a long season, or just build a foundation of real physical fitness before college, this is where that work gets done right.

Your first coaching session is free. Bring them in and let's have a conversation.

Back at it on Monday!

There's a reason most people who join a gym alone don't stick with it.

It isn't motivation. It isn't discipline. It isn't even time.

It's isolation.

According to data from the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association, people who train solo face a 56% higher risk of canceling their gym membership than those who train alongside others.

But here's the number that really stops people: 88% of people who train in group settings consider themselves loyal gym members. Among people who train alone on free weights and machines, that number drops to 33%.

Same gym. Completely different experience of belonging.

And nearly 50% of new gym members quit within the first six months — most of them going it alone, with no one noticing when they stop showing up.

The pattern is consistent across study after study. Isolation is one of the biggest predictors of dropout. Not because people stop wanting results, but because wanting results isn't enough to override the fundamental human need to feel connected to something.

This is why the semi-private model at X Factor works the way it does. You're part of something. People notice when you show up. They notice when you don't. They remember your goals because they've heard your story.

That kind of environment doesn't just make training more enjoyable.

It makes it stick.

When a physical therapist with nearly 20 years in the fitness industry walks into your gym and leaves a 5-star review specifically about your coaching, that's worth paying attention to.

That's what happened with Camille:

"I had the privilege to join the xFactor athletes for a workout recently.

It felt so much like my home gym from high school- in all the best ways.

It was a group of warm individuals, there to enjoy their workout and encourage each other. Brett coached me through my workout.

As an expert in the fitness industry for nearly two decades and a physical therapist, I can tell you that his methodology was rock solid, and his instruction for form and technique were on point.

I felt both safe and appropriately challenged.

Definitely looking forward to going back to refine my powerlifting skills!"

-- Camille Ronesi

As a PT, she's seen a lot of gyms. She knows what good form instruction looks like. She knows the difference between a coach who knows their stuff and one who's winging it.

Her review specifically validated Brett's form instruction and coaching methodology.

Not just "great gym, nice people." She was speaking as a professional, someone whose entire career is built around understanding human movement, injury prevention, and proper exercise technique.

That kind of endorsement means something.

Because good coaching form is hard to fake. You either understand biomechanics and movement science or you don't. You either catch the subtle compensations before they become injuries or you miss them.

X Factor Head Coach Brett doesn't miss them.

If you've been skeptical about whether the coaching at X Factor is the real deal, this is your answer.
