All across Richmond, second graders are learning how to swim—during the school day. Through Learn to Swim programs, students are not only taught water safety in the classroom, but they also get to experience it firsthand in the pool.
This isn’t just about swimming—it’s about equity, access, and giving every child the chance to feel safe and confident around water. We’re incredibly grateful to the school systems that prioritize this essential life skill and make it part of their curriculum.
