Safe Return Project recognizes that fatherhood is not defined by circumstance, but by presence, growth, and care. Every day, we see fathers who are rebuilding, reconnecting, and redefining what it means to lead their families and communities with purpose.

Happy Father's Day to the dads and all father figures in our communities, especially those impacted by incarceration, who always show up with strength, commitment, and love despite systemic barriers.

Let's not let Contra Costa remain one of the few Bay Area counties that have not passed a similar resolution, unlike neighboring counties such as Alameda, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma, which all have similar binding resolutions in effect. As the main immigration hub in Northern California, this is especially important for the county and the larger Bay Area region.
