Over thirty years ago, I launched WORK as a freelance agency for agencies. It always struck me as curious that advertising companies rarely advertise themselves. Yet, anyone walking through their doors would inevitably be told they needed to advertise. So, the first step I took was to brand WORK.

We started with hats and T-shirts, distributing them to friends, colleagues, and clients. Perhaps you've come across one or even have one at your firm. It always brought a smile to my face to see the legendary Lee Clow, my idol, wearing his at Chiat Day. Over the years, we've created our own WORK beer, coffee, baseball cards, and a variety of other promotional items and leave-behinds.
