Don't miss your chance to have your gift to House Rabbit Society doubled by a generous donor, up to $20,000! Your support will help us continue to expand our spay/neuter program, veterinary training initiative, our educational outreach efforts, and help create a future where every rabbit receives the care they deserve. Please give today if you're able at houserabbit.org/donate!

More than 60% of our funding comes from supporters like you, but rising costs for food, veterinary care, and supplies make our work more challenging every day. Your gift today can help ensure our educational and medical programs continue, as well as our rescue work. With your help, we can keep this lifesaving work going strong! Donate now at houserabbit.org and your donation will be matched, doubling your impact and kindness and meaning twice the impact.

Through our partnership with FreeWill, we can also accept gifts of stock, donations from donor-advised funds (DAFs), IRAs, and even cryptocurrency, if you would like to support our match campaign in a different way.

Thank you for helping HRS continue to grow and save lives!

One of our favorite things to do is to share happy adoption updates with you! Miss Bunnypenny was adopted from House Rabbit Society earlier this year, and her family just adores her.

Her adopter shares, "Anne Rice has become Miss Bunnypenny! (James Bond fans get it.) 'Penny' is busy hopping on everything she possibly can in her new home. Slowly but fortunately, she is figuring out how to jump up on the bed without hopping all over her human roommate in the middle of the night. She melts under head pets, and attacks lettuce with greater gusto than her human (or her two new bunny roommates) has ever seen. In related news, her vet has confirmed she is chunky (adorably so!) and she is on a diet. She looks forward to reaching her goal weight so she can go back to regular amounts of lettuce!"

We have so many wonderful rabbits like Miss Bunnypenny waiting for a loving new home. You can learn more about them at houserabbit.org/adoptables!

Happy 4th of July! We love this graphic from Oxbow Animal Health about how you can help your rabbit feel comfortable and calm during fireworks. Even for indoor rabbits, sudden, loud sounds like fireworks can be frightening, particularly if they are set off close by your home.

We hope you and your pets have a safe holiday!
