Trail Racing Over Texas

Two months out from Texas’ Hottest trail run. Habanero Hundred was born from a summer long-run gone wrong and is now one of the largest trail races in the state.

Lisa Decker and Kathryn Stewart were our DFL finishers in 2025, crossing the finish line with less than 10 minutes before cutoff - becoming the 197th and 198th Habanero Hundred 100M finishers in ten years!

This year brings a hot new challenge of 135 miles through the horse trails and sand of 7IL Ranch in the peak August Texas heat. Who will take that 200th finisher spot and get their name on the back of next year’s shirt?

Run or Ruck - 4.167 miles on the hour, every hour.

The ultimate test of physical and mental endurance is back! Big Tex Backyard takes places on November 7, 2026 - runners will challenge themselves to a classic backyard format event. Runners toe the start line on the hour, every hour and must complete the full "yard" (4.167 miles) before returning to the start line for the next. As long as two runners remain standing, the running continues.

Whether you're aiming to push yourself through a marathon distance, hit a new long run PR or fight to win the last man standing - this is the race for you!
