The weather looks like it'll be kind to us while we enjoy food, music, art, and good people.

What happens during a typical day around here?

A lot.

Spraying, cleaning, sanding, designing, painting, and prepping prints is all in a day's work.

We're under a heavier load this week since Quakecon. Our inventory was absolutely fragged.

But more immediately, we have a small event this Friday we regularly attend.

DFW Young & Social's Board Game Nights is happening this Friday.

This is a recurring event that happens every third Friday of the month from 7pm to 10pm-ish.

It's a chill, fun time around adults 18+ who are all there to enjoy a night partaking from a library of board games provided by the club's founders.

This event happens August 15th, 2025 from 7pm to 10pm at 2309 Springlake Rd. in Farmers Branch, TX.

And if you're a local artisan or craftsperson in need of a booth this Friday night, DFW Young & Social is looking to fill some booth spaces. So reach out!

You all have shown us so much support over this weekend and over the past 2 years of doing this punny business.

So, we just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge your support and the impact it has had on us.

We've gained a lot of certainty from you coming to our booth at events and can't tell you how grateful we are to see what we're doing is wanted and appreciated.

So, thank you all so much.

We have a lot of work to do, so we're going to get to it.

If you've ever planned a board game night with friends, you know how difficult THAT whole process can be.

This struggle is the very foundation "Ft. Worth Game Night" is built upon.

"Ft. Worth Game Night" is a local group on the western side of DFW that gets together and plays games nearly every night of the week.

And they also host a great big gathering I'm here to tell you about called "Geek Game Days."

"Geek Game Days" is a three-day event dedicated to playing, trading, buying, selling, competing in, and learning tabletop RPGs and board games.

Here are the details:

August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Friday: 11am to 11pm.

Saturday: 9am to 11pm.

Sunday: 9am to 9pm.

If you're anything like me and Gabby when we first started out, you might only have a vague idea of how 3D printing works.

Well, I'm going to de-mystify that process here.

This is a simplified explanation of how Filament and Resin 3D printers work.

But, it's what helped me and Gabby decide how we were going to start out making models

There's a lot more that goes into each process, especially regarding health and safety.

But I wanted to share these basics because a lot of you are very surprised to hear that we 3D-print our figures.

I hope this helps to clear up your understanding.

A little of the dirty work that goes into making each Artickle.

Each day begins with spraying the sanded prints from the day before.

After spraying, the prints for today get sanded, cleaned, then set out to dry for spraying tomorrow.

It's a pretty creative and crafty way to start the day.
