🏡Foster home needed:
We are still in need of a foster or adoption home for Cruze. Cruze has some mobility issues, but with the help of Hodag Paws Chiropractic Dr Grace and some medications we are seeing a lot of improvement. Cruze has done well with other pets and good with respectful kids. Cruze needs a home that is able to help him get to a stand position and no stairs. He is an incredible and super sweet boy. We feel Cruze will continue to improve and in a home would be best for him. Can you help?

Summer is here! Do you have some extra time and want to help? The Oneida County Humane Society is looking for dedicated volunteers to help care for the animals and support our daily operations!

Volunteer opportunities include:

Morning cleaning and feeding
Dog walking
Socialization and enrichment activities

Morning cleaning and feeding

🐰 Small Animal Care
Morning cleaning and feeding

🏠 General Shelter Support
Afternoon cage cleaning
Laundry
Assisting with various projects around the building

🌳 Outdoor Help
Yard maintenance

🚗 Errand Assistance
Picking up supplies and donations
Shopping for shelter needs
Transporting pets to and from veterinary appointments

Whether you can give a few hours a week or more, your time makes a huge difference for the animals in our care. Volunteers hours can be anytime between 7am and 5pm, but talk with staff about our biggest needs.

This handsome guy is Rocky! Rocky is about 2 years old and just the perfect boy! He has lived with other dogs and cats and done well. He has also done well with respectful kids and is even housebroken! Rocky can be a tad shy at first but warms up super fast and will become your best friend. He is a perfect size, approximately 45lbs.
