All routes have been suspended on Monday, January 3, 2022, due to hazardous road conditions. Routes will run on a 1-day delay through the end of the week

Glass Containers No Longer Accepted in Curbside Recycling Program - Fairfax County Government NewsCenter To improve the quality of single-stream recycling, Fairfax County will no longer require glass bottles and jars to be placed in curbside recycling bins effective Oct. 1, 2019.

Just a reminder that it’s copperhead season. We have one that’s moved in next to our stairs, so be careful with the kids especially. I called an animal removal company to have her relocated, will post the info if they work out well. They’re not aggressive, just be careful not to step on them.

Household Hazardous Waste Program Expanded Fairfax County has expanded its household hazardous waste collection. Bring those chemicals lurking under your sink any day of the week to two locations.

‪Annual meeting that was scheduled at Forest Edge school tonight has been cancelled as the school has been closed due to weather forecast. Will be rescheduled. ‬

‪Due to the weather yesterday there was no trash or recycling service. The community will have trash pickup on the next regularly scheduled date of Thursday and will have recycle picked up tomorrow.‬
