Cub Scout Pack 638

Another great end-of-school year camp out at The Highline Kiwanis Club's Camp Shoenwald! Our scouts collaborated together to complete a series of Survivor-style challenges, enjoyed lots of sweet treats and fellowship time, earned their awards and rank advancements, and most importantly...had a lot of fun!

Tonight, Cub Scout Pack 638 celebrated Liberty in Action, in honor of our nation's 250th anniversary! We learned about the Declaration of Independence, did a fun audience participation story about how Cub Scouts can help their communities, played a wooden hoop catch game from the 1700s, rolled beeswax candles, got a commemorative Enduring Liberty half dollar coin from one of our coin collecting parents, and capped the night off with a birthday party celebration for the country. What a fun way to learn more about citizenship and freedom!
