Help Elky the Chicken

Well we have some potentially good news. The avian specialist we go to at AHCC (Dr. Ferguson) wants to do x-rays and blood work to determine how long we can put off surgery, and she also thinks the cancer is not near Elkys liver which is great news for now :) Again, any donations at all would be greatly appreciated. We will be doing better financially in the next few months but Elky may not be able to wait that long. We appreciate all of the well wishes and kind words too

So good update folks! Elky is actually looking more comfortable than these last few weeks. I think it's just the meds but the cancer is operable so if we just keep up on the meds until we have the funding she should be okay!
