Happy Earth Day🌎🌿
Here are some tips and tricks to live a more sustainable lifestyle!
1. Bring your own tupperware for leftovers when eating out!
2. Use a diva cup or period panties as an alternative for tampons/pads!
3. Use a plastic free razor, or one with a replaceable blade to reduce plastic waste!
4. Use a phone case made of compostable materials rather than a plastic one that can be on this earth up to 1000 years!
5. Bring reusable shopping bags on weekly trips to the grocery store!
6. Recycle within your own home by reusing and repurposing bags, jars, and boxes!

Hailey: I like to follow Ezra because he keeps it real. He reminds me that there is no ‘right way’ to be trans and to be gentle with myself. He inspires me because he’s genuinely kind and unapologetically himself.

More club members favorites for body positivity 💖😘✌🏼
Cat: “Beyoncé and Lupita are strong and inspirational women who constantly show us their inner and natural beauty to us. Your inner beauty is where you love yourself regardless of having plastic surgeries or not but, just continue on staying true to yourself! Learn to love yourself and give yourself the confidence that you deserve to go through life with.”

Get to know Gen. Action NV and some of the creators that inspire us to be body positive! Marissa: Nikkie De Jager: A trans woman that came out to “reclaim her power” after being blackmailed to have the opportunity taken away from her. Nikkie uses her Youtube Channel to have fun with makeup while inspiring others to be unapologetically themselves. “The Power of Makeup” video and trend she created radiates the message that wearing makeup is for you, and you only, no one else. It inspired people to show their faces with and without makeup reassuring the idea of how drastically you can change your appearance with makeup and that is totally okay! Hailey: Alok’s Instagram account is my favorite. Their beauty and powerful use of language draws me in again and again. Their posts are a reminder to be kind to myself because oftentimes it can feel like the world is against you but there is still much beauty to be had and celebrated in this world. They remind me that life is worth more than just existing but living! Which is easier to forget than I’d like to admit. I’ve found solace in their poetry too many times to count and I hope following them can bring you the same joy that it’s brought me :). Tyler-Ann: Sierra has helped me so much with my own body positivity journey! She reminds those who are watch how important it is to take care of yourself, be kind to yourself, and support the people around you. She is an amazing role model for body positivity and a big part of where I am today!
