🌟 We had an amazing May GBCC Development Meeting on youth outreach, local data, and the YoungLife program updates. Thank you to our partners at Encounter Ministry and Reno-Sparks YL!

🌟 Did you know, in a recent YoungLife research report and study, data showed approximately 49% of Gen Z youth reported feeling that they were unworthy of being loved?

🌟 We ended the day with our Quarterly GBCC Team Lead Meeting. About 3/4 of our Specialty Team Leaders were able to attend and reported updates on current operational needs, team progression, and vision casting.

📣 We’re excited to announce the official launch of three new teams and 6 new Team Leader Promotions!

1.) GBCC Prison Team
2.) GBCC V.O.A.D. or Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster Team
3.) GBCC Administrative Operations Team

Congratulations 🎉 to the following personnel:

We’re beyond excited, overwhelmed, and grateful for Reno Thank You Ma'am! Tonight, because of this amazing group of Ma’ams and their generosity, we’ll be able to serve many more in need here in Washoe County. This potentially over $12,000 donation, could not have come at a more perfect time! We’ll be able to provide scholarships, train, onboard, insure, and license 10-15 more specialized Crisis Response Chaplains. We currently have a little over 70 licensed GBCC Professionals in our Corps, and we need about 125 to meet the minimum local needs of crisis and support services calls. As we have started serving our executed MOU with Washoe County, Nevada - Government and Northern Nevada V.O.A.D. expansion, we’ll be able to better minimize burnout and to offer critically needed support services to both sworn and non-sworn WC Staff, WC Contractors, and our local WC Citizens!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED TRUST AND BELIEF IN OUR MISSION!!!
